The Closest airport to the venue is Alicante-Elche Airport which is approximately 1h in a car. Alternatively there is a bus directly from the Airport into Benidorm and a smaller bus which connects you to all surrounding towns including Alfaz, Albir, Altea, Bennissa, Calpe, Moraira
We recommend that everybody traveling from the UK stay in one of the following towns as it will be more convenient for us to arrange transport for you to the venue and falls inbetween our house and the venue which means we will be able to easily help our family and friends should they need transport etc.
We will be arranging a mini bus to the wedding venue for those who choose to use it. For those of you who wish to return in a minibus this can also be arranged closer to the date.
A return trip can also be arranged for individuals who do not wish to stay until the end but we ask that you please let us know in advance as we may be a little too busy to arrange it on the day.
So… wait for it. “THE GROOM” will be making his GRAND entrance between 14.00-14.30pm (depending on the weather). Yes I know, you can tell that I am writing this with gritted teeth. So we ask that you please be punctual and arrive just before 2pm.
The Bride will eventually rock up around 3pm but i’m sure it wont be as dramatic. (saying that DRAMA is my middle name so who knows what could happen)
The ceremony will begin at around 3.15-3.30pm.
The plan of action after the Ceremony is very simple.
Eat, Then Drink, Dance, Then Eat again, Then Drink, Then Dance Again. So please wear comfortable enough shoes to dance the night away in.
As we are going against Tradition and getting married in a beach club we do ask that you bring cash and card to buy drinks on the day although we will also be providing beverages for you all to enjoy throughout the day. Please note there is a minimum card payment at the bar of 5euros.
We do stress to you all that it can be very hot in June and we will be in the sun during the ceremony. Please bare this in mind at the time of choosing your attire and we do recommend hats.
We will eventually be sending out menus and asking you to choose you dish for the 3 course meal, please do inform us if you have any food allergies or are vegetarian or vegan “as you may be uninvited” (ONLY KIDDING!!)
Please remember, you are there because we love you. So please let your hair down and lets have a fabulous crazy fun day!
